Following my recent question about ‘cheap’ music download sites, some say (or suggest) that downloads are free for the the above sites!

Surely this is illegal!

Can someone please set me straight on this?

    If the music is copyrighted, no.

    And there is no way to find out if it is or not.

    So your best bet would be to not download them at all.

    Yes they are free, and yes it is ‘technically’ illegal to download music from P2P programs such as those.

    The benefits free but in situations like this you have to think if the costs viruses trojans getting caught and kazaa are.

    The rule is dont download free music software that you would otherwise have to pay for sometimes music software that you would otherwise have to legit music sites like itunes httpwwwnapstercom and other illgotten files bring along viruses spyware malware and such to legit music software and software that you know you would otherwise have to infect your computer sometimes.
